Meet Raycast, my digital sidekick
For me, it started with an app called Quicksilver. After a while, Apple took that idea and made Spotlight, but Spotlight worked differently.
Then I found Alfred – it did the same thing as Quicksilver but also so much more.
Alfred is great, but my new sidekick is Raycast. The biggest difference is speed—or at least perceived speed. I don’t have any numbers to go by.
Raycast makes many of the routine tasks you do repeatedly much quicker. For someone who gets a minor panic attack when watching people move around their windows with the mouse and then drag them into misaligned windows on top of each other, a tool like this is a must.
