# Firefox 1.0 is here

After being developed for quite some time now, the first sharp release is here. I’m talking about the Internet browser called [Firefox](http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/). During the development process the browser changed name a couple of times but now, finally, version 1.0 is out and it’s time to start reccomend it to the public!

According to [W3Schools.org](http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp) the Mozilla based browsers (read Firefox) have 17% of the market this November. Even if those figures are a bit misleading, you can’t argue with the fact that Firefox gains popularity! So, if you’re tired of pup-up ads and multiple windows - give Firefox a try. I’ve been using it for a long time now and I’m a lot more comfortable with it than I’ve ever been with Internet Explorer.

Did I forget to mention that it’s free of charge and without ads?
